The 2019 9th Annual Hatcher Pass Marathon & Relay is a low-key, uphill marathon in beautiful Willow, Alaska. The route follows Willow Fishhook road (aka Hatcher Pass Rd) all the way over the summit, and finishes at the Independence Mine State Historical Park "Bowl" parking area.
This part isn't Happy Malamute related, but it KIND of is :)
I'm (Natalie, that is) going back to the Chicago Marathon in 2019. I've run a lot of races, but adore Chicago and completed this race in 2016 and 2018.
Next year I'm taking a leap of faith and fundraising for the VERY FIRST TIME!
I am officially on Team Fox, supporting research for Parkinsons Disease. Our family has been personally touched by this disorder and its far reaching consequences.
I know there are a LOT of funds out there asking for donations. Choose with your heart. I just know that there is so much that isn't known about PD and I would love to see people regain their independence, both as a family member and as a RN.
We've included the direct link to my individual fundraising page below.
